Home Espresso
Coffee: 18 grams
Total Volume: 1oz - 1.5oz
Grind Size: Fine
Extraction Time: 20s - 30s
1. Use 18 grams of finely ground coffee
2. Tamp it down firmly into the portafilter
3. Lock it into the espresso machine
4. Brew for 20-30 seconds
5. Extraction should be between 1oz to 1.5oz of espresso
Your coffee is ready!
Home Coffee Pot
Coffee: 3 scoops
Water: 2 Cups
Grind Size: Medium
1. Fill the reservoir with 2 cups of water.
2. Place a coffee filter in the basket
3. Add 3 scoops of ground coffee
4. Press the brew button.
5. After brewing, pour the coffee into mugs and enjoy
Moka
Water: around 1 cup
Coffee: 2 scoops
Grind Size: Fine
1. Fill the bottom chamber with water up to the safety valve
2. Add finely ground coffee to the filter basket without pressing it down.
3. Assemble the Moka pot
4. Place it on the stove over medium heat
5. Wait until you hear a hissing sound and the coffee begins to emerge from the spout
Your coffee is ready!
French Press
Coffee: 2 tbsp
Water: 1 cup
Grind Size: Medium - Coarse
Total Time: 4 minutes
1. Heat water until it's hot, but not boiling
2. Add coffee to the French Press
3. Pour hot water over the coffee, ensuring all the coffee is saturated
4. Stir the coffee gently
5. Put the metal filter on and let it sit for 4 minutes.
6. Press the filter down slowly to separate the coffee from the water.
Your coffee is ready!
Aeropress
Coffee: 2 rounded scoops
Water: Up to #3
Grind Size: Fine
Total Time: 1 minute
1. Add coffee to the brew chamber
2. Pour water up to the #3 approximately on the chamber
3. Stir a couple of times using the paddle
4. Insert the plunger and gently press all the way
5. Add more water or milk to taste
Your coffee is ready!
Hario V60 / Pour Over
Coffee : 2 tbsp
Water: 1 cup
Grind Size: Medium
Total Time: 3 minutes
1. Place the filter on the V60 dripper and rinse it
2. Add coffee grounds to the filter
3. Boil some water until it’s hot, but not boiling
4. Slowly pour a little hot water over the coffee grounds to make them wet. Wait for the coffee to soak (about 30 seconds)
5. Slowly pour more hot water over the coffee grounds on a swirl motion up to the desired amount
6. Let all the water drip onto your cup
7. When it’s done dripping, take away the V60
